Protect industrial
personnel with the
provisions in NFPA 2113.
Developed primarily for
garment end users, this
all-new Standard
specifies the minimum
requirements for the
selection, care, use, and
maintenance of flame-resistant garments for use in areas
at risk from flash fires that comply with NFPA 2112.
Follow the provisions in this document to reduce the
safety risks associated with incorrect selection of
protective clothing as well as those risks caused by
incorrect maintenance, contamination, or damage.
Together with its companion document for garment
manufacturers, NFPA 2112, these standards represent
the first such standards developed for industrial flash fire
protective garments in the United States. (Approx. 18 pp.,
2001)
